An interactive commision for University of South Florida comprised of two 46-inch high-definition LCD monitors, a small external PC, and a computer program that allows viewers to contribute content that is displayed in real time. Both monitors display a digital rendering of the wall on which they are mounted. While one monitor displays a ‘zoomed-out’ image, the virtual area of which measures 87’ x 52’, the other monitor displays a 1:1 ratio digital rendering of the real wall. Viewers touch can touch either screen to activate the program, which can be used to “graffiti” and add content to the virtual wall. The program does not include an eraser, viewers can email jpgs of sections of the wall to any recipient.
